Detrás del yunque hay una persona.
Behind the anvil, there's a person.
Soy Mauro.
I'm Mauro. I've done all kinds of jobs. I repaired phones and computers at uBreakiFix, sold and explained tech at AT&T, worked as a Technical Specialist at Apple, a guide at Rivian and a banker at Citibank.
Alongside all that, I've spent over seven years in hospitality. Behind the bar I learned what no tech company teaches you: really listen, explain without jargon, and make people feel looked after. Today I train others in that craft.
In every one of those jobs, I was explaining technology to people. Until one day I wanted to stop explaining it and start building it. So I went all in on a full stack development bootcamp and learned to code from scratch.
And here we are: a workshop of my own, an anvil, and a drive to build.
From tech I brought knowing how things work on the inside. From the bar, how to treat people. MakerKin puts both together: I build your site as a developer and look after you like a guest at my bar, patiently and in your language.
A "maker" builds things. "Kin" means family, clan. Every client becomes part of the clan.
